The World's Largest Hourglass is in Japan

The large sand timer at the Hitomasa Museum in Ota, Shimane Prefecture, Japan, has been recognized by Guinness World Records as the world's largest hourglass. With a height of 5.2 meters and a diameter of 1 meter, the sandglass is extremely large. The sand timer was officially launched as the museum's logo at 24:00 on January 1, 1991, and later featured in the 2008 comic book Sandmeter, which was adapted into the film of the same name.
Previously, an hour glass made by American with a height of 1.06 meters and a diameter of 38 centimeters was listed in the Guinness Book of World Records as the world's largest sand glass. But Guinness World Records has confirmed that Japan's sand watch is the largest one in the world. The oversized sand clock looks spectacular and has attracted a lot of people after it was certified by Guinness World Records as the largest.
